Responsibilities

  • Supporting with household and domestic tasks: laundry, shopping, cleaning, paying bills
  • Making meals, drinks and snacks where necessary
  • Encouraging and enabling residents to follow agreed care plans
  • Assisting residents with getting up in the morning, providing personal care including washing/bathing and dressing; helping with undressing and going to bed in the evening, as well as ensuring medication is taken as required
  • Putting resident wellbeing at the heart and going the extra mile, keeping managers and key agencies informed of progress

Shift Pattern: Mix of early and late shifts (8-3, 3-10) 2 weeks rolling rota including shifts on one weekend in every 2 weeks

About the role

We offer a supportive team with no commuting between calls. Residents live in their own apartments with access to communal lounges, gardens, cafés/bistros and hair salons. You’ll build strong relationships and be part of the Extra Care family.

  • Hourly pay: £13.48 per hour, full-time equivalent £24,601 per annum (35 hours per week)
