The role
As a Mobile Interior Designer with Housing 21, you will lead creative makeover programmes, manage design budgets, oversee supplier relationships and deliver design‑led improvements that positively impact residents’ everyday lives.
Responsibilities
Lead design projects for communal areas, creating vibrant and comfortable environments.
Develop complete design concepts and construct multi‑layered design boards.
Present designs and facilitate Q&A sessions with residents and stakeholders.
Administer contracts and manage an integrated supply chain.
Negotiate effectively with contractors and other external customers.
Qualifications
Experience in an interior design role or graduate from an interior design course.
Proven track record of developing complete designs and producing design boards.
Experience delivering formal presentations and Q&A sessions.
Experience administering contracts and managing supply chains.
Ability to negotiate effectively with internal and external customers including contractors.
Qualified to HND or Degree standard in Interior Design or demonstrable experience in semi‑commercial or hospitality sector.
Educated to A‑level/degree level standard in an art‑based subject.
