As Housing Manager you will manage the day to day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme. You will ensure all properties are safe, well‑maintained and meet the needs and wants of our residents, enabling them to live well with dignity and autonomy.
You will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all properties within the scheme, ensuring they provide a high standard of living and are 100% compliant with regulations. You will schedule repairs and manage contractor relationships, focusing on high standards and value for money.
Customer service skills are a must; you will ensure residents feel heard and that any housing‑related concerns are addressed as a priority. You will welcome new residents to the scheme and encourage engagement with activities and events.
Essential Requirements- Proven housing management experience
- Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH regulations
- Experience of managing and scheduling property maintenance
- Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management
- Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4 or willingness to work towards if not held
