Head of Finance Business Partnering - Asset Management
Salary: £83,043 per annum
Location: Home Based
This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy
The vacancy
Hours: Full time - 35 hours per week/ 70 hours over two weeks (nine-day fortnight)
It’s an exciting time to join us and play a key part in creating and shaping our Finance Strategy. We are investing in our people, processes and systems to make us more effective, productive and easier to engage with. This role will play a key part in implementing our new Finance system, ensuring we realise the benefits technology brings, not only in the Finance department but across the organisation.
As Head of Finance Business Partnering, you will be responsible for business partnering and management accounting for the Development, Asset management and Corporate departments. You’ll lead the team, driving a customer focussed, high performing culture and be passionate about empowering and developing your team whilst ensuring financial viability and strong financial controls.
Social Housing experience is essential to critically evaluate and challenge new business opportunities, keeping us fit for the future. You will be an expert on business planning, responsible for the production and submission of our long-term business plan to the regulators.
You’ll build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting internal stakeholders to understand their responsibilities, using your influencing and project management skills to ensure deadlines are met effectively in a collaborative approach.
This is a home based role, travel will be required across our geography to meet business need.

What we’re looking for
The essential requirements for the role include:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA or equivalent
- Experience within Social Housing
- Proven and extensive track record of setting the commercial agenda and shaping core business decisions
- Strong investment appraisal, financial modelling, and business planning techniques
- Experience of using long-term planning software such as BRIXX
- Proven experience of successful team leadership and line management
- Excellent relationship building & influencing skills, with ability to explain complex accounting concepts to non-financial audience
