This role focuses on delivering a high quality, meaningful activities programme to promote social inclusion for all residents. The role is co-produced with residents and involves working with external stakeholders to promote community engagement within the service.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all residents receive a high quality, meaningful activities programme that promotes social inclusion and motivates residents through scheme/village specific activities co-produced with residents.
- Co-create and deliver activities and events that engage a diverse range of residents with diverse needs.
- Engage with external stakeholders to promote community involvement and assist in developing models and procedures for effective engagement.
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of older people and the issues pertaining to them.
- Experience of working with vulnerable people.
- Good level of digital skills and experience, including Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams).
- Experience in developing and delivering themed activities/events capable of engaging a diverse audience with diverse needs (desirable).
- Proven track record in delivering a creative and inclusive approach to older people’s wellness and activities (desirable).
- Experience in managing budgets (desirable).
