As Housing Manager, you will manage the day‑to‑day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme, ensuring properties are safe, well‑maintained and meet the needs and wants of our residents, enabling them to live well with dignity and autonomy.

Responsibilities

  • You will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all properties within the scheme, ensuring they not only provide a high standard of living for our residents but are 100% compliant with regulations.
  • You will be responsible for scheduling repairs and managing contractor relationships, focusing on high standards and value for money.
  • Customer service skills are a must; you will ensure residents feel heard and trust that any housing‑related concerns are addressed as a priority.
  • You will welcome new residents to the scheme and encourage engagement with activities and events.

Qualifications

  • Proven housing management experience
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH regulations
  • Experience of managing and scheduling property maintenance
  • Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management
  • Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4 or willingness to work towards it if not held
