As Housing Manager, you will manage the day‑to‑day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme. You will ensure properties are safe, well‑maintained and meet the needs and wants of our residents, enabling them to live well with dignity and autonomy. You will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all properties, ensuring they provide a high standard of living and are 100% compliant with regulations. You will schedule repairs, manage contractor relationships, and focus on high standards and value for money. Strong customer service skills are essential to ensure residents feel heard and receive timely resolution of housing concerns. You will also welcome new residents to the scheme and encourage their engagement with activities and events.
Qualifications
- Proven housing management experience
- Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH Regulations
- Experience of managing and scheduling property maintenance
- Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management
- Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4 or willingness to work towards it if not held
