We are seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to join our Executive Support Team. This is a pivotal role, enabling senior leaders to manage competing priorities, operate effectively and deliver against strategic objectives. Working closely with the Chief of Staff, you will provide proactive, high-level support across a varied portfolio. This will include managing complex diaries and inboxes, coordinating priorities, and acting as a trusted gatekeeper—exercising sound judgement and discretion at all times.
You will prepare briefings and papers, support Board and Committee activity, and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation and wider Parliamentary environment. You will also contribute to team operations and provide flexible support across the Executive Support Team as required. This is a rare opportunity to work at the heart of a programme of national importance, supporting senior decision-making and governance at the highest levels.
You’ll bring:
- Significant experience of supporting senior executives in a complex organisation.
- Proven ability to manage demanding diaries and priorities in a fast-paced environment and taking a proactive approach and undertaking tasks directly on behalf of senior executives where appropriate.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and sound judgement.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
- Discretion in handling sensitive information.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office core apps.
