Join us in a role where organisation, coordination and collaboration come together to support one of the UK's most ambitious restoration programmes. As Executive and Team Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the House of Lords Temporary Accommodation Project as it moves into the delivery phase. Working within the project team and as part of the wider Executive Support Team, you will provide high-quality support to the Project Director and wider team, ensuring the smooth running of project activity and effective coordination across a range of stakeholders.

This is a hands‐on role that combines executive support, team coordination and project administration. You will be responsible for managing diaries, organising meetings, maintaining documentation and supporting governance activity, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and effectively managed across the project. Working closely with the Project Director, Design and Engineering Director, Programme Director, and wider stakeholders, you will help ensure priorities are managed effectively and that the project team is supported to deliver its objectives.

Qualifications
  • Proven track record in a similar role supporting Senior Directors and/or Board members, preferably within a project or programme environment
  • Experience of proactively managing complex diaries and busy inboxes
  • Experience of providing team-based support, ideally within a project or programme team
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience of handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Salary

Salary circa £35,000 per annum.

Security & Vetting Requirements

Successful candidates will be required to complete security vetting to a minimum Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) level obtained through the Parliamentary Security Department (PSD). Candidates are required to pass these checks before a start date can be confirmed. Applicants should also be aware that, depending on the role applied for, if they have resided outside of the UK for a total of more than two of the last five years, they may not be eligible for vetting.
