We’re now looking for a Information Management and Data Protection Manager to join our Governance Team.
You will support colleagues to understand and meet their obligations in relation to information handling and data protection and will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure a strong culture of compliance in these areas.
To support the requirements placed on the DA by Parliament, you will ensure that the DA has an effective, streamlined and scalable framework for IM. You will inform and advise on DA obligations under the UK GDPR and report on compliance.
Managing a small team you will work on continuing to enhance the support provided to the Programme. You will have the ability to communicate and effectively influence at all levels of the organisation to embed a strong organisational culture of IM and GDPR compliance, providing training and raising awareness.
Salary circa £70,000 per annum

Security
Successful candidates will be required to complete security vetting to a minimum Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) level obtained through the Parliamentary Security Department (PSD). Candidates are required to pass these checks before a start date can be confirmed.
Applicants should also be aware that, depending on the role applied for, if they have resided outside of the UK for a total of more than two of the last five years, they may not be eligible for vetting.
