We are seeking a skilled and commercially savvy Commercial Manager to design and execute engaging workshops, activations, and interactive experiences at large trade and consumer events on behalf of a client. This role is ideal for a results-driven individual with a passion for events, strong business acumen, and the ability to create strategic partnerships to drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

Workshop & Experience Development

  • Curate and manage interactive workshops and live experiences for event attendees.
  • Develop innovative concepts to enhance audience engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery.

Strategic Growth

  • Lead the establishment of a scalable business unit focused on commercial workshops and experiences.
  • Develop strategies to integrate interactive activations across multiple events.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to create new revenue streams and increase audience engagement.

Commercial Partnerships

  • Identify and secure sponsorships, partnerships, and suppliers.
  • Develop and pitch sponsorship packages aligned with audience interests and commercial goals.
  • Negotiate and manage partner relationships to deliver mutual value.

Marketing & Engagement

  • Collaborate with marketing to promote workshops and drive attendance.
  • Align experiences with audience interests and emerging trends.
  • Work with PR teams to generate media interest in activations.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee logistics, staffing, and equipment for workshop execution.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and supplier contracts for cost-effective delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and ensure smooth operation during events.

About You:

  • Proven experience in event management, brand activations, or experience-led marketing.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of securing sponsorships and partnerships.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects within tight deadlines.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for designing memorable experiences.
