Housekeeping Club, a trusted local cleaning company covering Cumbria and North Lancashire, is looking for a Cleaning Checker / Trainer to support our growing team during the busy holiday let season in the Newby Bridge area. This role is ideal for someone with a great eye for detail who enjoys supporting others, maintaining high standards, and helping create outstanding guest experiences.
Hours That Work for You
- 1–3 days per week (primarily Mondays and Fridays)
- Typical hours between 10am–4pm (some flexibility required)
- Perfect around school hours
- Subsidised travel from Barrow available
- Fixed-term contract until 31/10/26
What Youll Be Doing
- Checking cleaned holiday homes to ensure they meet our quality standards
- Carrying out spot cleans or touch-ups where needed
- Training and supporting new and existing cleaners on best practice
- Providing friendly, constructive feedback to the team
- Reporting maintenance issues or damages
- Ensuring correct use of cleaning products and equipment
- Supporting smooth changeovers on busy turnaround days
