The Role
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Housekeeping/Cleaning Supervisor to oversee cleaning standards at holiday parks based in Newby Bridge. This role involves supervising cleaning tasks, checking accommodation, supporting new staff through inductions and training, and reporting back to management. The ideal candidate will lead by example and take pride in delivering consistently high standards. This role would suit someone who genuinely cares about their work, goes the extra mile, and strives to be the best at what they do.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out cleaning duties to company standards
- Supervising and checking accommodation to ensure quality and consistency
- Refilling cleaning products and consumables
- Conducting staff inductions and trial shifts
- Training new and existing staff members
- Monitoring standards and addressing issues promptly
- Reporting cleaning outcomes, stock needs, and any concerns to management
- Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous cleaning experience in hospitality
- Supervisory experience
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of work
- Ability to train, support, and motivate others
- Good organisational skills and time management
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
