We are currently seeking a reliable, detail-focused and hardworking individual to join the team at The Falmouth Hotel as a Public Areas Cleaner. This important role helps ensure our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable and welcoming environment throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas throughout the hotel, including lounges, corridors, reception areas, toilets and other guest-facing spaces.
- Carry out regular cleaning duties to ensure areas remain clean, tidy and well-presented throughout the day.
- Replenish guest supplies and amenities in public washrooms.
- Report maintenance issues, damages or health and safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are used and stored correctly.
- Support the housekeeping team with additional duties when required.
- Adhere to all health & safety, hygiene and company procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the highest standards throughout the hotel.
Requirements
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
- A positive, proactive and reliable attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a professional manner.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required.
