We are currently seeking a dedicated, organised and motivated individual to join our team as Assistant Housekeeping Manager. Working closely with the Housekeeping Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department and ensuring our bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest possible standards.
Responsibilities
- Support the Housekeeping Manager with the day-to-day running of the housekeeping department.
- Supervise, motivate and support the housekeeping team to maintain consistently high standards.
- Assist with allocating daily room and cleaning duties.
- Check bedrooms and public areas to ensure they meet the required standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Monitor linen, cleaning products and housekeeping supplies, reporting shortages when required.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure they are followed up appropriately.
- Respond to guest requests and concerns in a professional and helpful manner.
- Ensure all health & safety, COSHH and company procedures are followed at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a housekeeping or hotel environment.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
- Good communication skills and the ability to motivate and support a team.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and genuine commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Flexibility to work weekends, bank holidays and busy periods as required.
