Housekeeping Club is a leading commercial cleaning business based in Kendal. We are currently seeking a cleaner for a pub in Windermere. The hours will be 8am-10am 4 days a week including Saturday. We are flexible on the days depending on your availability. This is a permanent 8h per week contract. We also have holiday let cleaning opportunities in the area if you wanted to top up your hours on Mondays and Fridays, potentially giving you a total of 12-20 hours per week.

Duties:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
  • Empty trash and replace liners
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
  • Clean and disinfect high-touch areas such as doorknobs, light switches, and handrails
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisor or client

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work preferred but not required
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
  • Good physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed within designated timeframes
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
