Citadines City Centre Liverpool is seeking a confident Linen Porter to become part of our Housekeeping Team. Our properties operate 24/7; therefore, the department works on a shift basis. Please note this position is part time, 20 hours per week over 5 days.
As a Linen Porter, you will support the Housekeeping department by ensuring the efficient handling, distribution and control of linen and laundry, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and stock control in linen areas.
Responsibilities- Managing the collection, sorting and distribution of clean and soiled linen across the property
- Maintaining organised, clean, and well‑stocked linen rooms and storage areas
- Monitor linen levels, minimise waste, and report any shortages or discrepancies
- Supporting the Housekeeping team to ensure rooms are ready to the highest standards and on time
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures when handling linen and equipment
- Assist with stock deliveries, inventory checks and general housekeeping duties as required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Physically able to lift, carry and move linen trolleys
- Flexible and reliable, with the ability to work shifts (including weekends if required)
- Understanding of health, safety and hygiene standards
