Alto Software Group (ASG) is a leading B2B SaaS platform serving the UK property industry. We power thousands of estate agency branches and support a significant proportion of UK housing transactions each year. We are building a data-driven, operationally efficient platform business. AI will be a structural lever in improving internal productivity, reducing operational cost, and enhancing customer experience.
This is a fixed term project role, responsible for embedding AI into how we operate.
The Role
We are hiring a commercially minded AI Operations consultant to investigate, design and implement AI-driven efficiencies across the organisation and embed AI as a core operational capability. This is a project role to support the business in discovering our most inefficient workflows and develop solutions to address them. You will work cross-functionally across Customer Operations, Marketing, Education, Training, Finance and Strategy to:
- Automate administrative workflows
- Reduce manual operational overhead
- Improve reporting speed and accuracy
- Increase CS and support efficiency
- Leverage our Mission Control data platform to drive intelligent automation
- Embed AI into our core systems stack
Core Responsibilities
AI & Automation Strategy- Develop and embed an internal AI operations roadmap
- Identify high-impact automation opportunities across functions
- Prioritise initiatives based on measurable ROI and margin impact
- Set and track performance metrics for each AI deployment
- Design and deploy AI-enabled workflows across:
- Salesforce (CRM automation, data hygiene, workflow optimisation)
- Zendesk (ticket summarisation, tagging, routing, AI triage)
- HubSpot (marketing automation and lifecycle workflows)
- Zuora (billing process efficiencies and reporting automation)
- Thrive LMS (content optimisation and tagging)
- ThoughtSpot (data surfacing and operational insight triggers)
- n8n
- Empromptu
- Zapier / Make
- OpenAI / Anthropic APIs
- Webhooks and API integrations
- Leverage ASG’s Mission Control data platform to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Create event-triggered automation workflows
- Develop predictive operational insights
- Build AI-enabled reporting summaries for leadership
- Establish AI governance frameworks and data security standards
- Ensure GDPR-compliant deployment
- Develop internal AI playbooks
- Drive adoption and training across departments
Required Experience
Technical & Automation- Proven project management experience implementing AI-driven workflow automation in a SaaS environment
- Strong experience with CRM and marketing systems (Salesforce and HubSpot preferred)
- Experience with Zendesk or similar support platforms
- Strong API integration capability
- Experience using automation tools
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience working with LLM APIs and prompt engineering
- Understanding of RAG pipelines and vector databases (desirable)
- Experience operating in B2B SaaS
- Strong understanding of SaaS metrics (MRR, churn, NRR, GRR)
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable ROI from automation initiatives
