House Smart Surveying is a growing and ambitious residential surveying practice, and we are actively recruiting RICS Residential Surveyors across the UK to support our continued expansion. We are seeking high-calibre surveyors to join us in permanent, salaried roles, offering long-term stability, an attractive bonus scheme, and the opportunity to grow with the business. The Role
This is a full-time position with flexibility for remote working and local patch-based surveying. Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys
- Completing residential valuations where appropriately qualified
- Inspecting residential properties and assessing condition, defects, and risks
- Producing clear, accurate, and professional reports
- Working closely with clients and other property professionals
What We’re Looking For
- AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS qualified surveyors
- VRS registration preferred (not essential for all roles)
- Strong recent experience in Building Pathology
- Residential valuation experience advantageous
- Sound knowledge of building construction, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Confident use of surveying tools and reporting software
- Full UK driving licence
