House Smart Surveying is a growing and ambitious residential surveying practice, actively recruiting RICS Residential Surveyors across the UK to support our continued expansion. We are seeking high-calibre surveyors to join us in permanent, salaried roles, offering long-term stability, an attractive bonus scheme, and the opportunity to grow with the business. Our workload continues to increase through strong client demand and trusted referral relationships, allowing us to develop new surveyor patches and invest in our people. The Role
This is a full-time position with flexibility for remote working and local patch-based surveying. Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys
- Completing residential valuations where appropriately qualified
- Inspecting residential properties and assessing condition, defects, and risks
- Producing clear, accurate, and professional reports
- Working closely with clients and other property professionals
What We’re Looking For
- AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS qualified surveyors
- VRS registration preferred (not essential for all roles)
- Strong recent experience in Building Pathology
- Residential valuation experience advantageous
- Sound knowledge of building construction, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Confident use of surveying tools and reporting software
- Full UK driving licence
