I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Housing Manager to join a well-established housing and property services organisation managing a diverse portfolio of affordable homes across the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding resident services, managing tenancies effectively, and making a positive impact within local communities.

The Role

As Housing Manager, you will take ownership of a designated housing patch, acting as the main point of contact for residents and stakeholders. You'll be responsible for delivering a high-quality housing management service focused on tenancy sustainment, resident satisfaction, community engagement, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage tenancy and leasehold matters across your patch.
  • Handle resident enquiries, complaints, and correspondence in a professional and timely manner.
  • Lead on anti-social behaviour case management and resolution.
  • Oversee the voids and lettings process, ensuring targets are achieved.
  • Manage tenancy issues in line with housing legislation, policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Work closely with local authorities, contractors, and partner organisations to resolve housing-related issues.
  • Conduct estate inspections and ensure communal areas are maintained to a high standard.
  • Support resident engagement initiatives and community events.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, client representatives, and key stakeholders.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

  • Previous experience in a Housing Officer, Housing Manager, Tenancy Management, or similar housing management role.
  • Strong knowledge of social housing legislation and housing management practices.
  • Experience managing complex tenancy and anti-social behaviour cases.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong report writing and case management skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering positive outcomes for residents and improving service performance.
