About the role
You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Show Team to plan and deliver integrated PR and marketing campaigns that drive attendance, engagement, and sales performance. Your focus will be on developing impactful promotional activity and compelling content to meet audience and revenue targets.
Reporting to the Portfolio Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with the Event Director, Features Manager, and the wider event team to ensure campaigns are aligned and delivered effectively. You will also oversee and support a Marketing Executive and Marketing Assistant throughout campaign periods.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of marketing and promotional plans, including media, direct, digital and PR activity.
- Identify and secure key media and third-party partnerships, maximising promotional reach across the exhibition portfolio.
- Create and maintain a strong, user-friendly web presence for all exhibitions, ensuring listings are accurate, visible, and optimised.
- Manage social media channels across Facebook, X (Twitter), Instagram and Pinterest, including paid campaign activity.
- Track campaign performance against agreed KPIs and deliver post-campaign reporting and insights.
- Work with exhibitors to generate content, build profiles, and encourage promotion through their own channels.
- Support on-site marketing at exhibitions, including activations, photography and videography, talent liaison, and customer enquiries.
- Build and maintain positive, productive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
