Base pay range

Basic upto £30,000

On target: £40,000+ in your first year

A really exciting position for a friendly and energetic person to join an established, successful Media company. If you are a friendly, passionate person with prior experience in a sales role – this could be perfect for you!

The Role

We are looking for an experienced sales executive to work across an exciting portfolio of Events, Sponsorship, Magazines and Digital products. The role is target focused, but also allows for creativity and progression as the products develop and evolve.

Responsibilities

  1. Ensure sales targets (personal and product) are achieved above and beyond each month
  2. Have a solid understanding of the sales process, digital and live event, with the ability to share knowledge with members of the team
  3. Know your stuff: industry, competitor analysis, publications, key brands, what’s best for your clients, inventory, show and digital targets – and how to increase revenue year on year
  4. Know your figures: digital and publication target, revenue, year on year comparison, yields, total pagination vs available, number of clients, new business and retention
  5. Be responsible and take the lead on for solving problems and issues as they arise: amendments, accounts, managing cancellations
  6. Back management decisions publicly and suggest constructive ideas
  7. Implement a strategy/vision for your client base (content and composition)
  8. Communicate with the team to ensure your knowledge is shared
  9. Ensure CRM is kept up to date at all times
  10. Maintain and increase business development – increase new lead sources
  11. Build client relationships – client management, client retention
  12. Enforce company policy and procedures
  13. Great telephone manner
