The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our clients established and fast-paced finance team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously while collaborating across the business. You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager, divisional directors, and external partners, so strong communication skills are key, especially when explaining financial information to non-finance colleagues. You’ll also be someone who can spot when support is needed and step in with ideas and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of specific business divisions, managing all accounting and reporting activities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including basic tax and annual financial reporting
  • Partner with divisional directors and commercial teams on budgets and financial forecasts
  • Collate information for board packs and ad hoc reporting
  • Complete P&L and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the wider finance team as required

About You

  • Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA or ACCA)
  • Strong Excel skills are essential
  • Experience in a multi-project or product-based environment is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 is desirable but not essential
  • Highly organised, with strong prioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels
