Fixed-Term Contract: October 2025 – March 2027 (Maternity Cover)
We are working exclusively with a boutique property developer based in SW London to recruit a Lettings Manager for a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, design-led business with a reputation for delivering high-quality homes and exceptional service.
The ideal candidate will be experienced in the full lettings process, from valuing and marketing properties to assisting with tenancy agreements, handling maintenance issues, and supporting the wider lettings and property management team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Valuations: Accurately value rental properties within the developer’s portfolio and advise on pricing strategies.
* Marketing: List and manage property listings on Rightmove, Zoopla, and other portals.
* Presentation: Prepare properties for marketing, including light dressing/staging and taking professional-quality photos.
* Tenancy Administration:
* Assist with the preparation and review of tenancy agreements
* Support with move-ins, end-of-tenancy processes, and issuing legal notices
* End of Tenancy Management: Oversee check-out reports, deposit handling, and any necessary negotiations.
* Maintenance Coordination: Liaise with contractors and handle day-to-day maintenance issues in collaboration with the property managers.
* Escalations: Act as the escalation point for issues raised by the in-house team of negotiators and property managers, ensuring prompt and effective resolutions.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with a small, close-knit team and contribute to the overall success and smooth running of the lettings department.
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Lettings Manager
* Confident in valuing and marketing properties independently
* Strong understanding of UK lettings legislation, tenancy notices, and agreements
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Eye for detail and presentation, particularly with property staging and photography
* Comfortable using lettings software and listing platforms
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage a varied workload within a boutique team
* ARLA qualified
* UK Driving License
