About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Key Account Sales Manager to manage and grow relationships with high-value clients for our trade show events and sponsorship offerings across multiple shows. This role is ideal for a sales professional accustomed to working with large-scale clients and closing substantial deals. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue and ensuring client satisfaction, managing a portfolio of key accounts while achieving ambitious sales targets, including a £1m annual revenue goal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve the sales targets
- Build and nurture strong relationships with high-value clients, ensuring their expectations are exceeded and long-term partnerships are established.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and through strategic prospecting.
- Lead negotiations, closing substantial deals for event participation, sponsorships, and other offerings.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to align client objectives with event deliverables.
- Monitor market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular performance updates to senior management.
- Represent the brand at industry events and networking opportunities to enhance client relationships and explore new business avenues.
- Visiting clients for face to face meetings
About You:
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, ideally within events, media, or sponsorship sales.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and grow key accounts, delivering consistent revenue growth and client satisfaction.
- Strong commercial acumen and expertise in closing high-value deals.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior decision-makers.
- Results-driven, with a relentless focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing complex client relationships, balancing high expectations with practical deliverables.
- Organized and strategic, capable of managing multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and pipeline management tools to track and optimize performance.
