The role
A Show Manager to join a very successful business exhibitions portfolio team.
- Lead by example
- Be your teams point of contact for support and growth
- Set clear goals and objectives for all reporting staff
- Responsible for delivering sales targets across the show
- To proactively develop New and Existing Business sales strategies
- Help the team source and convert new business leads and recruitment of new accounts
- Develop a campaign strategy with the Event Director
- Aim to increase overall numbers of exhibitors, exhibitor mix, stand sales, sponsorship inventory, yield and sponsorship revenues
- Review and manage the sales plan targets and budget
About you
We are looking for friendly, motivated individuals who are looking for their next role in Event Sales. Ideally you will have experience of working in a similar role and be someone who thrives in a managerial position.
- People centred management ability
- Account management experience throughout full project cycle
- Ability to problem solve and to overcome objections during the sales process
- Ability to build lasting rapport with clients, both on the phone and face to face
- Ability to work to deadlines and targets
