Are you a data-driven analyst who enjoys turning complex datasets into meaningful commercial insight? We are looking for a Retail Analyst to join a fast-growing organisation at the centre of online retail intelligence. You will work with weekly data from 200+ retail partners, helping produce industry benchmarks, performance reports, and trend insights used by businesses, leadership teams, and training programmes.
The Role
You will play a key role in collecting, validating, analysing, and presenting retail performance data. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing weekly and monthly retail data submissions (sales, traffic, conversion, basket value)
- Cleaning, validating, and transforming large datasets using Excel, SQL, Power BI, and Power Query
- Identifying anomalies, trends, and performance patterns across retailer data
- Producing market insight reports and benchmarking analysis shared with paying members
- Supporting the development of dashboards, insight packs, and industry content
- Turning technical data into clear, commercial stories and presentations
- Working directly with retail partners to resolve data discrepancies and ensure accuracy
- Contributing to published insights, board-level reporting, and training materials
- Maintaining accurate CRM and retailer records
About You
- 12+ years experience in an analytical or data-focused role
- Strong Excel skills; SQL, Power BI, and Google Analytics experience is highly desirable
- Confident interpreting complex data and presenting insights clearly
- Comfortable questioning data quality and communicating with external stakeholders
- Organised, detail-oriented, and commercially aware
- Trustworthy and professional when handling sensitive information
