With ongoing company growth and an increase in premium events and group bookings, we’re looking for a highly organised, confident, and experienced Events & Sales Coordinator to join our team full-time.
About The Role
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of the full event coordination process, from managing complex enquiries and proposals through to executing seamless guest experiences. You’ll be the main point of contact for high-value private dining and event bookings, working closely with our front-of-house, kitchen, and management teams to ensure flawless delivery.
Responsibilities
- Lead Event Coordination: Manage all aspects of private dining, group bookings, and venue events from initial enquiry through to post-event follow-up, maintaining a high standard of service throughout.
- Drive Sales & Conversion: Confidently handle sales enquiries, tailor proposals to client needs, and contribute to revenue targets through strong client engagement and effective follow-up.
- System Oversight: Maintain and optimise use of booking and CRM platforms (SevenRooms and Tripleseat). Ensure accuracy in availability, guest communications, and team coordination.
- Client Relationship Management: Build lasting relationships with both new and repeat clients, acting as a trusted advisor for bespoke event planning and execution.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Liaise closely with operations, culinary, and service teams to communicate guest requirements, finalise menus, and deliver tailored event experiences.
- Event Documentation & Reporting: Oversee the creation of event briefs, proposals, function sheets, and internal communications. Maintain accurate reporting on bookings, conversion rates, and client data.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Support junior team members and contribute to refining internal processes and best practices within the events and sales function.
About You
- 1+ years of experience in events coordination, ideally in high-end restaurants, boutique hotels, or premium venues
- Proven track record of managing multiple high-value events and bookings simultaneously
- Confident in client-facing roles, with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
- Tech-savvy and experienced with CRM and booking platforms (e.g., SevenRooms, Opentable, Tripleseat)
- Strong understanding of hospitality operations and guest experience
- A self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
