What We’re Looking For
House of Louie is looking for an experienced and passionate Assistant Bar Manager to support the leadership and day-to-day running of our bar operation.
Working closely with the Bar Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the bar operates to the highest standards across service, drinks, team performance, and guest experience. You’ll be a confident and hands-on leader who leads by example, supports the team on shift, and helps create an energetic and welcoming environment for both guests and colleagues.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Assistant Bar Manager, Supervisor, or strong Senior Bartender who is ready to step into a greater leadership role within a premium, high-volume hospitality environment.
You’ll support the Bar Manager with the day-to-day operation of the bar, helping to maintain exceptional service standards, develop the team, and ensure consistency across every shift. You’ll have a genuine passion for drinks and hospitality, a strong eye for detail, and the confidence to take ownership when required.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Bar Manager in the smooth and successful day-to-day running of the bar.
- Lead and motivate the bar team during service, creating a positive and high-performing environment.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences and ensure consistently high standards of service.
- Support training, coaching, and development of bartenders and junior team members.
- Help maintain standards across cocktails, drinks quality, presentation, cleanliness, and service.
- Assist with stock management, ordering, wastage control, and cost awareness.
- Support the implementation of bar standards, procedures, and operational processes.
- Take responsibility for the bar operation in the Bar Manager’s absence.
- Work closely with the wider management team to ensure a seamless experience across House of Louie.
