At the heart of the House of Commons, our Recruitment Team delivers a high‑quality, people‑focused hiring service across the House and Joint Departments. Managing around 800 recruitment campaigns each year, we help attract outstanding talent, support internal mobility, and ensure every candidate enjoys a fair, inclusive and seamless recruitment experience.

As a Recruitment Adviser, you will take ownership of end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns across a wide range of roles, working closely with hiring managers and PACT colleagues to provide expert advice on recruitment strategies, assessment methods and market insights while championing diversity and inclusion at every stage.

This fast‑paced, collaborative role requires you to build strong stakeholder relationships, use innovative attraction approaches and help shape continuous improvements across recruitment and onboarding processes. You will also drive an excellent experience for both candidates and managers, ensuring recruitment activity is efficient, compliant and aligned with House values.

The role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of spending 40% of your time in the office.

  • Recruitment Expertise – Experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment campaigns with a solid understanding of best practice, candidate experience and relevant employment legislation.
  • Customer Service & Stakeholder Management – Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, build trusted relationships and confidently influence hiring managers and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Recruitment Planning & Delivery – Skilled in managing multiple priorities and delivering recruitment activity within tight deadlines, using a variety of sourcing and attraction methods to secure diverse talent.
  • Teamwork & Collaboration – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work inclusively within a collaborative team environment and share knowledge and best practice.
  • Attention to Detail & Systems Knowledge – Strong attention to detail, with experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media platforms and diverse job boards to support successful hiring outcomes.
