Role: Logistics Administrator

Reporting To: Operations & Logistics Manager

Based In: London Office, Shoreditch (onsite)

Working Pattern: 4 days a week, Tues-Fri

The Role: The Logistics Administrator will be an essential support to the team by arranging logistic movements and troubleshooting courier issues to ensure products get to where they need to go. An organised problem solver will be at the core of this role and will enable you to thrive with House of Hackney.

  • Customer Experience:
    • Work hand in hand with customer services and internal teams to ensure the customer expectations and delivery promises are always met.
    • Ensure all orders are correctly packaged (in line with Company standards). Any failures are investigated with all external agencies and are reported and escalated.
    • Ensure packages are compliant with international shipment regulations.
    • Key point of contact for courier, WH and 3PL account managers, working closely to ensure efficient and accurate shipping of orders.
    • Consider all logistic movements ensuring best freight/courier options selected and shipments consolidated as much as possible to reduce carbon impact.
  • Process ownership:
    • Ensure compliance of all processes and activities within the Warehouse and adherence to the Global SLAs.
    • Be first point of contact to the Warehouse account managers for any issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
    • Resolve urgent order fulfilment issues as they arise, especially related to shipping and logistics.
    • Review invoices from service providers and ensure invoices are correct, flagging to management areas for concern or incorrect costs.
    • Support team internally during shoots, sample sales and special projects by controlling stock movements and liaising with couriers.
    • Ensure orders ship on the correct method, and that the 3PL are processing order types correctly to the customer type.
    • Ensure orders ship under the correct Tax code, and method to minimise VAT charges reflecting latest incoterms/tariffs/EU regulations.
    • Flag recurring issues to manager for resolution.
    • Support team with any stock related requests/movements within the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a logistics role, overseeing domestic and international shipments.
  • An understanding of import duty and commodity codes, and shipment methods.
  • Highly organised.
  • Microsoft Office skills.
  • Personal alignment to House of Hackney ethos and values.
