We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced flagpole and sign fitter to join our busy installation and maintenance team.
Salary: Dependent on experience
Location: Head Office in Kimbolton
Job Type: Full-Time, Field Based, Permanent
Main Purpose of the Job:
- Carrying out installation work for ground mounted, roof mounted or wall mounted flagpoles and signage.
- Carrying out site surveys and creating installation plans, including compiling all relevant measurements and information required.
- Ensuring the installation company vehicles and equipment are kept clean and in good working order.
- Always adhere to health and safety regulations and requirements.
- Planning ahead with jobs and ensuring the correct products and tools are taken to site.
- Ability to help with our stores department on days where there is not installation or maintenance work.
Essential Skills Required:
- Signage Install experience
- Working at height
- Site safety & risk awareness
- Full Clean Driving License
- IPAF 1B Qualifications (preferred)
- CSCS card
- PASMA card
- LOLER training (preferred)
The Ideal Candidate:
- Fit and healthy as manual labour is a large part of the job.
- Familiarity with power tools and relevant equipment for installation tasks.
- Proven experience in installation work, preferably within a similar environment.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Work Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Overtime when required
- Out of hours/overnight work when required
- Occasional weekend availability
Benefits:
