Central Manchester | Full-Time | Head Office Based £45,000 + Growth Opportunities

Are you ready to take your logistics career to the next level with one of Manchester's fastest-growing fashion brands? Our client — a dynamic company with offices in Manchester and China — has experienced incredible growth over the past five years, with three thriving fashion brands (two under licence) sold across Marketplaces, D2C, and Wholesale in the UK, EU, and USA. Next stop? The UAE — launching soon!

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal role in a forward-thinking business that's scaling globally.

The Role

We're searching for an experienced Import & Export Logistics Trade Manager to lead and optimise international logistics operations from the Manchester HQ. You'll work closely with the China office and global partners to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient end-to-end product delivery — from supplier to customer — across multiple markets. This is more than a logistics role — it's a strategic position that will shape and improve global processes as the company continues its rapid international expansion.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage all data inventory management for CHINA/ EUROPE / USA warehousing
  • Manage all import/export logistics, customs clearance, and documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with international trade laws and customs regulations.
  • Collaborate with teams in China, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure seamless, on-time deliveries.
  • Oversee shipping costs, duties, and risk management, keeping operations efficient and compliant.
  • Improve processes, systems, and reporting to support future growth.
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely invoicing and accurate stock control across all warehouses and fulfilment centres.
  • Drive operational excellence — identifying opportunities to streamline, automate, and improve.

About You

You’re an experienced logistics professional with a passion for international trade and operational excellence. You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in import/export logistics for a fashion apparel brand
  • Strong knowledge of international trade laws, goods classification, and customs valuation
  • Proven ability to improve processes and manage complex global supply chains
  • Solid Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP & SUMIF a must!)
  • Experience working with suppliers in China
  • Familiarity with ERP/Inventory systems (Cin7 experience a plus)
  • Sharp attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset

Why Join?

  • Be part of a fast-paced, growing fashion powerhouse with a truly international footprint.
  • Collaborate across UK, EU, USA, and Asia — with expansion into new markets just around the corner.
  • Take ownership of a key strategic function and make a tangible impact on global operations.
  • Work in a creative, ambitious, and supportive environment that rewards initiative and innovation.
