Role SummaryThey are now seeking a seasoned Head of Operations to lead global supply chain and logistics across D2C, B2B, and Private Label businesses. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, customer satisfaction, and long-term scalability, while managing 3PL partnerships in the UK and US, supplier networks, warehouse budgeting, and global freight budgets.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end supply chain and logistics operations across the UK and US.
- Manage 3PL warehouses and supplier relationships, ensuring service excellence and scalability.
- Own freight and warehouse budgets, driving cost efficiency while improving OTIF delivery performance.
- Optimize inventory planning, demand forecasting, and warehouse utilization to achieve business goals.
- Drive process excellence through Lean, technology adoption (WMS/TMS, automation), and integration across functions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning, ensuring operations align with growth priorities.
- Build and mentor high-performing teams across multiple geographies.
- Warehouse cost efficiency: Maintain warehouse costs at or below 14% of sales.
- Inventory health: Ensure ≤120 days inventory turns with no sales loss.
- SLOB reduction: Keep slow-moving/obsolete stock.
- Freight cost control: Keep freight spend within budget while strengthening delivery performance.
