Manchester - Full-time Head Office Based

BRAND 2 - Is an elevated menswear label known for refined silhouettes, premium fabrics, and tailored streetwear staples. The brand blends timeless style with modern utility to create wearable, high-quality garments.
Due to high online growth, our client is now looking for a Senior Designer to lead creative across both brands — managing the full design process from initial concept to final production. Based full-time in Manchester office, you will work hands-on across both brands maintaining each brand’s distinct visual identity while driving innovation, fit, and storytelling. This is a key creative leadership role within the studio, offering real ownership and the opportunity to shape the future of two fast-growing British fashion brands.
Responsibilities
- Creative Direction & Design
- Lead seasonal design direction for both brands, developing moodboards, concepts, and colour palettes.
- Design full collections for streetwear-focused contemporary menswear, ensuring clarity and consistency in both aesthetics.
- Research streetwear and fashion trends, garment finishes, washes, and cultural influences.
- Utilising graphic designs and visuals to create standout garments.
- Support in overarching branding, visuals and photoshoots of the brand too, not limited to the creative aspect solely to design (enforcing synergy behind the creative team).
- Create detailed CADs, flats, and full tech packs for production.
- Work closely with factories, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure product accuracy and quality.
- Oversee fitting, sampling, and pre-production adjustments to achieve the final vision.
- Select and develop fabrics across categories — including jersey, outerwear, wovens, and knitwear.
- Liaise with mills and suppliers to test, sample, and develop new materials and finishes.
- Ensure materials meet design intent, brand standards, and production timelines.
- Work closely with the founders and creative team on long-term brand evolution and new categories.
- Contribute to marketing and campaign direction, helping align product with visual storytelling.
- Mentor junior designers or interns within the studio, helping grow internal talent.
Must-Have
- 4+ years experience in fashion design (ideally across both streetwear and menswear categories).
- Expert in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign; confident in CAD drawing and technical packs. Strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, final product execution, and brand understanding.
- Excellent knowledge of fabrics, trims, construction, fit, and finishing.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and used to working in a fast-paced, drop-driven environment.
- A strong awareness of cultural trends, youth influence, and fashion direction.
