THE ROLE
Working alongside account manager on 3rd party brands, focusing on a new licensed brand. Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with 3rd party customers to take seasonal briefs and handle brand development projects.
- Holding meetings with customers alongside the account manager to review brand requirements for the upcoming season.
- Requesting, reviewing, and checking customer tech packs.
- Creating tech packs where needed.
- Producing range planners and preparing development packs for suppliers.
- Taking design briefs from 3rd party customers.
- Producing CADs and tech packs according to customer requirements.
- Briefing suppliers and providing required information for sample development and bulk production packs.
- Following the sample process and liaising with suppliers.
- Reviewing samples on arrival with the garment tech team and account manager, presenting samples and comments to customers/suppliers.
- Working alongside the account manager to keep the critical path flowing.
Inhouse License Brand:
- Taking the lead on design and development of a multi-product brand.
- Creating seasonal direction.
- Liaising with the director and account manager to create collection structure and option count.
- Leading the design and development process from concept to final tech packs.
- Liaising with the tech team on specifications.
- Liaising with the account manager to create range plans, brief collections, and liaise with the supply base.
- Carrying out approvals/comments with the team, taking the lead.
- Creating sales books/lookbooks.
- Involvement in the direction of seasonal campaign shoots and social media alongside the marketing team.
