They are looking for a highly organised and commercially aware Fashion Wholesale Operations Coordinator from a Merchandising background to join their team at their HQ in the Northern Quarter, Manchester. This role sits at the heart of the commercial function, supporting Sales, Merchandising, Logistics and Finance to ensure sales orders are processed accurately, efficiently, and in line with the critical path. This role acts as the link between Sales, Finance, Logistics, and Operations, enabling the sales team to focus on revenue growth while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and visibility across the order lifecycle. Your focus will be ensuring that the order book reflects commercial reality, customers receive the correct product on time, and internal teams are supported with clear, reliable information.
Key Responsibilities
- Navision Order Book Management
- Maintain and manage the wholesale sales order book within Microsoft Navision, ensuring all orders, call‑offs, amendments and cancellations are accurately reflected.
- Monitor orders, ensuring availability aligns with customer call‑off requirements.
- Ensure pricing, quantities, delivery dates and customer data are correct and kept up to date.
- Investigate and resolve order discrepancies, escalating issues where required.
- Critical Path & Call‑Off Management
- Track orders through the critical path from order placement to dispatch.
- Manage customer call‑offs in line with agreed delivery windows and stock availability.
- Liaise with Merchandising and Logistics to resolve risks to delivery dates.
- Proactively flag delays, short shipments, or availability issues to Sales.
- Cross‑Functional Coordination
- Act as a key link between Sales, Merchandising, Logistics and Finance.
- Support Finance with accurate invoicing, revenue recognition, credits and amendments.
- Work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure orders are released and shipped correctly.
- Respond to internal queries regarding order status, availability and delivery timelines.
- Process & Continuous Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies or recurring issues within order processing and call‑off management.
- Support improvements to Navision workflows, reporting and order controls.
- Document processes and promote best practice across the commercial team.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a fashion sales operations, wholesale admin or merchandising support role.
- Hands‑on experience managing a wholesale order book.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Navision or similar ERP systems.
- Confident using Excel to analyse data and support reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple live orders.
