What you'll be doing

As a Video Producer at the House of Commons, you will create engaging, high-quality video content that brings the work of UK Parliament's select committees to life. Working across topics that shape national debate, you will produce compelling content for social media, internal communications and long-form storytelling, collaborating with Members of Parliament, witnesses and colleagues to make parliamentary work more accessible and engaging for diverse audiences. From developing creative concepts and storyboards to filming, editing and delivering polished content, you will manage productions from start to finish using Sony camera equipment and Adobe Creative Cloud. You will also support photography, oversee digital asset management, optimise content for multiple platforms and help shape the future of video across select committees. Working closely with the Senior Video Producer and Creative Content Lead, you will champion innovation, mentor colleagues and ensure every production reflects the House of Commons' visual identity, accessibility standards and commitment to excellence. What we're looking for

  • Experience in end-to-end video production, especially in using Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Creative approach to developing ideas and concepts to engage existing and new audiences
  • Strong editorial judgement and the ability to work effectively across multiple projects
  • Excellent organisation & communication skills
  • Great stakeholder engagement whilst upholding the values of inclusion and diversity at all times
