As a highly skilled technical manager, you will lead operational assurance for a UNESCO World Heritage site at the House of Commons. In this pivotal role you will lead an in‑house team of 30 technical staff to guarantee the uninterrupted business of the House, overseeing high‑risk operating systems such as steam boilers, major chilled water systems, and complex Permit to Work frameworks. You will join at a defining moment, bringing your leadership to a multi‑year transformation that will leave a lasting legacy on the resilience, safety, and efficiency of the country’s most famous estate.

This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of you spending 40% of your time in the office.

What we’re looking for

  • NVQ Level 4 minimum in an engineering services related discipline.
  • Member of a relevant Engineering Institution (e.g. CIBSE, IMechE, IET) or evidence of working towards membership.
  • Significant experience of maintaining complex engineering installations such as steam boilers, main chillers, large pumps, and air handling systems.
