Salary: £43,614 – £50,374 per annum

Location: Hybrid (remote and on‑site – Westminster, London)

Leave entitlement: Starting at 30 days per annum, pro‑rata

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Companies and Finance Researcher, you will help MPs navigate critical issues shaping the UK’s economic and corporate landscape. Your work will turn complex information into clear, trusted analysis that supports Members in debates, constituency casework and scrutiny of government policy. Typical tasks include responding to time‑sensitive enquiries, drafting briefings for upcoming debates, and exploring emerging trends to keep Parliament ahead of national developments.

You will work on a hybrid basis, spending approximately 40% of your time in the office.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to absorb complex information quickly, assess reliable sources and draw balanced, evidence‑based conclusions.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one of the following areas: company law, banking, insurance, credit, investments or commercial rent.
  • Clear and impartial communication of complex issues, adapting the approach to meet the needs of different audiences.
  • Capability to manage competing priorities confidently while maintaining high standards and meeting deadlines even under pressure.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with a wide range of people and uphold principles of equality, diversity and inclusion in everything you do.
