What you'll be doing

Join the Parliamentary Broadcasting Unit (PBU) as a Senior AV Coordinator, helping ensure Parliament's debates, committees and events are broadcast seamlessly to audiences in the UK and around the world.
The Parliamentary Broadcasting Unit (PBU) is a small dynamic team responsible for televising, streaming, and archiving all public proceedings and events, operating and maintaining complex hybrid conferencing systems, and managing the House of Commons Annunciator service as well as a range of digital products.
As a member of the operational team, you will:
- Ensure that audio and video is recorded for all public parliamentary debates and meetings, including scheduling and monitoring recordings within the Unit's media asset management system and assigning transmission paths for each event.
- Monitor live broadcast output and recordings, troubleshoot issues quickly as they arise, and escalate with third‐party providers where needed.
- Help ensure the smooth daily running of parliamentlive.tv by monitoring live streams and flagging any performance issues with the online video service contractor.
