You will be working closely with the Creative Director to a new line of leathergoods, shoes and lifestyle accessories for the online and global stores. You will have the opportunity to design and develop a broad range of accessories as stand alone capsules, as well as pieces to compliment the core seasonal collections. We are looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented, and team-oriented individual with a strong fashion sense, trend awareness, and specialist experience in leathergoods design and construction. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop flat sketches and detailed tech packs for all accessories product, including any graphics or print elements. CAD up approved sketches in Illustrator. Participate in research and identifying seasonal fashion, fabric, technique, trim and merchandise trends Partner with materials manager on material sourcing for all accessories product Partner with offshore development office on manufacturer sourcing for specialist products Manage material development, swatches and lab dip approvals for your own designs Manage sample review process of accessories, addressing material, functionality and construction issues. Preparing sample feedback and approvals for specialist accessories factories Communicate daily with cross-functional partners, both internal and global Support sample teams and showroom set-up for range presentations SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 5+ years of related experience with excellent technical knowledge in accessories design and construction Strong with colour, material, detailing in a broad range of leathergoods and lifestyle accessories Excellent in communication, organization, and time management skills Proactive, professional, flexible and able to multi-task Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop and basic Excel.
