We are looking for a compassionate and committed Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team and deliver the best care to our clients. The successful applicant will have experience in senior care and excellent communication skills to liaise with the clients and their family. You’ll be key in assisting daily living activities, executing care plans and guaranteeing the welfare of the people you are caring for. Appreciation of leadership characteristics and capacity to supervise other staff members.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities like bathing, clothing and movement.
- Have care plans for each unique client.
- Communicate with clients, family and health care professionals to maintain continuity of treatment.
- Provide direction and supervision to subordinate workers as required.
- Document all care delivered as per regulatory criteria correctly and timely.
- Accompany clients on community outings or support them in activities as required guaranteeing their safety outings.
- Engage in training and development opportunities to acquire skills and expertise in senior care.
Requirements
- Experience in senior care or a related function is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with residents and team members.
- Full UK diving liscence drivers will be desired.
- Experience in overseeing others and leadership skills are a plus.
- Knowledge of care planning and implementation is beneficial.
- An empathetic attitude toward caregiving and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for clients.
- IT ability to handle records and paperwork efficiently.
