Let’s start with what is a Riverstone Residence? Think of a blend of outstanding apartments, with the services of a private members club and a luxury hotel. Riverstone offers a community for over 65’s that assists with maintaining an active, independent and rewarding lifestyle whilst offering the reassurance of service, security and well-being support. The housekeeping team keep our Residence looking immaculate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The night housekeeping team operates cover the hours between 20:00-8:00 working a 12 hour shift pattern (11.5 working hours) working 7 days in every 14-day rota cycle. This role equates to a 3.5-day week working an average of 40.25 hours. This working pattern may evolve as we continue to grow and learn from our colleagues, what best supports their needs and wellbeing.

  • You want to take your experience and passion for high end service and meticulous standards (likely gained in luxury hotels, residential or retail environments and with a minimum of one years’ experience) and step out of the conventional sectors to be part of creating a new lifestyle choice for the over-65s in central London.

Key responsibilities of the Night Housekeeping Host role:

  • The housekeeping team maintains and cleans all communal areas including restaurant, corridors, lobbies, stairways, lifts and lounges as well as the spa area, information suite and show apartments.
  • The team are also there to provide in apartment housekeeping services on a chargeable basis for any residents who want us to provide these.
  • Organising your daily work schedule in line with the set task list and resident service requests.
  • Distributing linen, towels and washroom supplies and replenish.
  • Laundry of all communal linen and towels.
  • Responding to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
  • Deep cleaning of communal areas.
