Location: This role can be based in either our Manchester or Burscough (Lancashire) office.

WHY you’re here… The core purpose of your job role. Working under the close direction of the Senior Account Manager or Account Manager, the Paid Executive supports the delivery of paid media campaigns for a wide range of clients, working closely with Account Managers to help implement strategies that improve organic visibility, drive traffic and support client goals. This is a hands-on, learning-focused role that gives the opportunity to build a strong foundation in paid media (in platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn) whilst gaining experience working across multiple clients and industries. They will play a vital role in campaign execution, data analysis, reporting and general account support. With time, they will begin to take more ownership of tasks, gain client exposure and grow into more strategic responsibilities.

  • Campaign delivery & account support (70%)
  • Support the execution of paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn and Microsoft Ads.
  • Understand your client’s agreed Statement of Work and ensure that all services in scope are executed and delivered to the highest quality.
  • Monitor live campaigns daily for performance changes, flagging any irregularities to the team.
  • Upload ad creative, schedule campaigns and check tracking codes under the guidance of more senior team members.
  • Conduct basic keyword research and audience targeting setups as directed.
  • Support in quality assurance of ads, tracking parameters, and landing page links before campaigns go live.
  • Assist in compiling performance reports using Google Looker Studio, GA4 and other analytics tools.
  • Help prepare presentation decks and contribute data or insights for client meetings and business reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records of tasks, hours and deadlines using internal time-tracking tools and project management software.
  • Ensure that all tasks that are assigned to you are delivered within an appropriate timescale and are delivered to your line manager or to your client within the deadline and to the highest quality.
  • Ensure all internal software & processes to manage your tasks are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Stay up to date with paid media trends and industry news to feed into team discussions and learning.
  • Contribute research, insights or slides to new business pitches and proposals under guidance from senior team members.
  • Client relationships (20%)
    • Join client calls, meetings and briefings to take notes, learn and eventually contribute where appropriate.
    • Help prepare client presentations, decks and reports, ensuring data is accurate and well-presented.
    • Respond to simple client requests in a timely, professional manner - escalating anything complex to your Account Manager or SAM.
    • Learn to interpret client feedback and help implement any follow-up actions.

    • Refer to senior team members for advice and support, as and when appropriate.
    • Ensure timesheets are completed accurately and on time.

    In addition, you will be expected to undertake any other task, deemed to be reasonable and appropriate to this role, as directed by your line manager.

    HOW you will deliver in the job role… The knowledge and experience you are expected to apply when performing your job role.

    • 6-12 months of experience in a digital marketing, media or advertising role, ideally within an agency or fast-paced environment.
    • A working understanding of PPC, digital advertising and data-driven marketing.
    • Basic knowledge of Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager and/or Google Analytics.
    • Proficient in content creation across various Ad and Social platforms.
    • Comfortable working with spreadsheets and learning data reporting tools.
    • Strong attention to detail, especially when handling data.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills - confident in drafting e-mails and presenting research clearly.
    • Strong copywriting skills.
    • Eagerness to learn, take on board feedback and work collaboratively in a team.
    • Organised and reliable - able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with guidance.
    • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and project management tools (e.g. Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
