Working under the close direction of the Senior Account Manager or Account Manager, the Digital Marketing Executive (SEO) supports the delivery of SEO campaigns for a wide range of clients, working closely with Account Managers to help implement strategies that improve organic visibility, drive traffic and support client goals. This is a hands-on, learning-focused role that gives the opportunity to build a strong foundation in SEO whilst gaining experience working across multiple clients and industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of SEO campaigns across technical, content and on-page workstreams.
  • Conduct keyword research, metadata updates, basic site audits and competitor analysis using SEO tools.
  • Monitor client websites for issues and flag them to senior team members.
  • Assist in compiling performance reports using Google Looker Studio, GA4 and other analytics tools.
  • Help prepare presentation decks and contribute data or insights for client meetings and business reviews.
  • Stay up to date with SEO trends, industry news and algorithm updates.

Client Relationships:

  • Join client calls, meetings and briefings to take notes, learn and eventually contribute where appropriate.
  • Help prepare client presentations, decks and reports, ensuring data is accurate and well-presented.
  • Learn to interpret client feedback and help implement any follow-up actions.

People & Culture:

  • Collaborate with other departments to help deliver joined-up digital campaigns.
  • Ensure timesheets are completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

  • 6-12 months of experience in a digital marketing or SEO-focused role.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and introductory-level SEO platforms.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organised and reliable - able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with guidance.

Success Measures:

  • Timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks and deliverables.
  • Quality of SEO outputs based on internal reviews and client feedback.
  • Positive feedback from Account Managers and clients on communication, responsiveness and attention to detail.
