Job Description
We are seeking a Residence Manager to lead the operations of a modern, purpose-built student accommodation scheme comprising 474 en-suite and studio bedrooms in the University district of Leeds.
In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring residents receive an exceptional experience while delivering cost-effective facilities and maintenance services.
Role Outline
β’ Lead, manage, and motivate the on-site team to deliver high-quality service.
β’ Oversee health & safety compliance, data protection, and adherence to current legislation.
β’ Manage partnership agreements with external organisations and meet all agreed KPIs and SLAs.
β’ Ensure communal areas are presented to a high standard and manage resident relations including complaints and pastoral issues.
β’ Drive the lettings cycle to achieve maximum occupancy, including marketing, viewings, inspections, tenancy agreements, and rent management.
β’ Prepare reports on lettings, rent, and resident issues.
β’ Manage facilities and maintenance operations, including utilities, waste, security, and cleaning contracts.
β’ Oversee statutory inspections, testing programmes, and associated reporting.
β’ Maintain relationships with local emergency services and partner institutions.
β’ Manage minor works, planned and preventative maintenance programmes.
β’ Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation and conduct risk assessments.
β’ Resolve complex maintenance defects and manage contractors.

Hours of Work
