The Commercial Executive is responsible for supporting and assisting the Senior Commercial Manager in the management of the Hourglass Cosmetics expansion in EU. The successful candidate will help to drive the businesses across stores and online whilst also liaising with retailers and internal teams to deliver exciting launches and activations, maintain a strong brand position within the market and support the brand’s continued dynamic growth.
SALES REPORTING & ANALYSIS
- Build weekly and monthly sales reports by retailer, gathering key retail context, category information and individual store performance detail to identify retail opportunities
- Support with product and franchise performance analysis, including new launches and participate in optimization plans
- Track and monitor retailer promotional activity
- Regularly monitor best‑seller stock levels across key retailer .com sites; flag any out‑of‑stock or low‑stock situations to the commercial team for prompt follow‑up.
- Provide regular NPD and sales analysis and draw key insights to drive the business forward
- Support the Commercial Team with presentations for internal and external meetings, including bi‑annual Strategy Meetings presentations and set‑up.
NPD
- Manage new product listings across all retail partners (upload of master data into retailer portals and preparation of new line forms), coordinating with internal teams to prepare and distribute the required assets and information in a timely manner.
- Ensure the timely delivery of all online assets for each new product launch (copy, visuals and video); coordinate with internal teams to ensure product information is consistent and up to date across all retailer .com sites.
- Check that all new products are live across retailer .com sites at launch; follow up with retailers where listings are missing or incomplete to ensure timely resolution.
TRADE MARKETING
- Handle all day‑to‑day operational requests from retailers and internal teams reliably and on time — including asset delivery, product information, collateral and sample needs
- Build new launch books, toolkits and activation recaps
- Regularly update the European marketing plan and trade marketing calendar
- Manage sample and collateral send‑outs for all retailer needs and marketing activations; implement the sampling plan, allocating quantities by retailer and market, tracking utilization and managing delivery to internal teams and retailers
- Create and manage event feedback to capture sales and event details
- Support in event preparation and organization: including managing products from the stock room or EU warehouse, preparing the full set up
- Capture all trade activations (in‑store and online) and keep the Hourglass visibility check deck up to date
- Conduct weekly competitive monitoring including active checks of top retailers’ online sites
- Optimise product detail pages (PDPs) across retailer .com sites — copy, imagery, assets and SEO‑relevant content
- Support with analysis and ROI of sampling, eventing and retail marketing initiatives
RETAIL
- Cascade all launch and activation dates to the field team to ensure regional calendar alignment
- Regular store visits to gain customer insights and enhance knowledge
Skills & Qualifications
- 2 years' successful experience in a similar role in commercial, sales or retailer marketing roles within the beauty or luxury sector.
- Higher education degree at master’s level (Bac +5), business school or equivalent.
- Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
