Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way. Provide general assistance to the practice team and project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person, email or via the telephone/video call.
Main duties of the job:
- Signposting
- Appointment booking
- Answer queries from patients and other staff
- Scanning incoming hospital letters
- Coding letters on systmone
- Admin duties inclusive but not limited to knowhow of eRS referrals, deductions, New patient registrations etc.

Job responsibilities:
- Management of Long term Conditions: call/recall and administration.
- Maintain High Risk Registers (Vulnerable patients, Learning disabilities, Safeguarding etc).
- Book, Cancel, amend patients appointments using clinical staff on System 1.

Person Specification:
- Qualifications: GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths
